The city has been at the centre of 20th history and it offers a variety of opportunities to study different facets of European history as well as experiencing the city’s artistic and cultural vibrancy. An arts and architecture themed tour would take in Museum island, a range of museums which cover German and Asian art, the Bauhaus school to learn about this influential school of architecture and could also include a visit to the Olympic stadium to see how a 1930s building was restored and upgraded for the World Cup.
